caprese salad
- plum tomato
- mozzarella cheese
- fresh basil
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Slice the tomato and mozzarella cheese. Place alternatly on a plate to form a circle.
Chiffonade the Basil. First, cut off the stems of the basil leaves. Then, roll the basil leaves from stem to point and cut them into small ribbons. Place on top of the tomato and cheese.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- You can drizzle balsamic reduction on top if you like
