mocha ice cream
- 2 cups heavy cream (1 pint)
- 2 cups half & half (1 pint)
- 3 tbsp instant powdered coffee or 1 sleeve of Starbucks Via Italian Roast or Starbucks Via Christmas Blend
- 3 tbsp cocoa, sifted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp chocolate extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
Pour cream and milk into a large bowl.
Add coffee and cocoa, stirring to blend.
Next, add sugar, extract and salt, mixing well until sugar is dissolved.
Pour into cream can of ice cream machine and process according to the machine’s directions.
