taco salad
- 1 lb. browned, drained and cooled ground beef
- 250 ml bottle french dressing
- 1/2 to 1 package taco seasonings
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1/4 to 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 2 to 3 chopped tomatoes
- 1 bag Old Dutch taco chips
- 1/2 to 1 cup chopped green stuffed olives (optional)
- 2 to 3 green onions (optional)
To cooked, cooled ground beef, add dressing, taco seasonings, kidney beans, and onions and refrigerate until ready to eat. Add cheese. Tear or cut iceberg lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Break the taco chips into small pieces.
Just before serving, mix all ingredients together. Enjoy!
Recipe Hint
- This does not keep well - the lettuce will wilt. If you only can consume half, mix about half of each and save the rest to be mixed the next day.
